In Greenport, where 67 Steps meets the Long Island Sound, sits one of the most beautiful places on earth.

As a life long local, this has always been my place of serenity and gratefulness. A constant reminder that I’ve won the universal lottery in terms of “born here” locations.

It is also a symbol of the obvious reason people flock to the area and why, in just a blink of an eye, the North Fork has gone from a sleepy stretch of farmland to one of the most desirable destinations on the planet.

As a life long real estate professional, rather than dig in my heels, I choose to responsibly embrace this change. The North Fork has been discovered. It’s no longer my secret, but it is mine to share.

So that is the motto that I take into every project, to share everything the North Fork has to offer, while honoring and respecting the place I always have, and always will call home.

That’s why for me, every day starts at the top of 67 Steps. A deep breath of salt air and a look out over the horizon reminds me of my place, keeps me grounded and humbled, and gives me the energy to win the day.
